The International Business Strategy Lab (IBS-Lab) provides students a unique opportunity to work with international companies on a one-to-one basis to solve a pressing strategic challenge in the global context. This ten-week experiential learning course blends traditional classroom learning with real-world problem solving and client service through a formal consulting engagement. Each teams of four (or 5 max) students will work directly with the client: 1) in their home country during a course trip over the Memorial day weekend (May 23rd – May 27th), 2) virtually on a biweekly basis using in-class technologies such as Skype, and 3) in the classroom on a biweekly basis to cultivate a client relationship and agreed upon consulting deliverables each group will develop for their client. Students will work independently to conduct research, analysis, and interviews to complete the deliverables on the client approved work plan. Registration by Application Only.
