Today’s global workplace is diverse on multiple dimensions. Leaders need specific skills and cultural competencies to effectively lead and manage others in these complex organizational and interpersonal situations. This course examines the benefits and challenges of leading and managing in diverse, multicultural global organizations. We will provide you with concepts such as social identification and cultural intelligence to gain insights to understand, work with, and motivate others from various backgrounds. We will expose you to frameworks and strategies for navigating through diverse organizational stakeholders through cases, role-plays and experiential exercises. Finally, we will share best in class examples of what exemplar organizations are doing to maximize employee performance, foster innovation and attract the most talented employees in globally diverse settings.
